Finding an affordable pumpkin topiary to buy was proving to be a challenge for me. I found this adorable one online - but it was $300! Holy Moly!!!!
And that doesn't even include the planter - just the pumpkins! It seems to be pretty popular, but for me - well - I don't have $300 to spare on one piece of decor for my Fall decorating. Actually, come to think of it, I don't think I have spent $300 total on my decor!
So I decided to DIY my own Pumpkin Topiary and while it isn't identical to the one I found, I really like it! It looks really nice on my front porch, and I am so glad I decided to do it myself.
You can do it too! It's easy, and if you are a perfectionist, you could even tape off the pumpkins to make the lines super straight. I bought the pumpkins at Michaels - they were $30.00 for all 3 of them! I already had the paint, the planter and Spanish moss for the container.
My total investment into this project was just for the pumpkins, and if you are really thrifty - I bet you can find these for cheap at your local thrift store.
It took about a day for the entire project, so definitely something you could do in a weekend!
