The ability to launch and land an autonomous drone from a moving vehicle is essential in military operations, emergency response, and commercial delivery services.
Sentien Robotics has delivered this capability with the Sentien #MAARS (Mobile Autonomous Aircraft Recovery System).
Our approach is inspired by RAST, a technology that is often used to assist in landing helicopters on the decks of marine vessels. Sentien MAARS is able to operate a drone tether-free, and land it on a platform dynamically moving at speeds up to 40 mph (64 km/h).
