Here is the story behind "DAVE" from their website.
The inspiration behind ‘DAVE’ comes from our founder’s father David, a great source of inspiration at Løthur. This was a man who was seldom found without a cup of the ‘good stuff’ in hand (English breakfast tea) and was rarely seen out of his sacred space, the back garden. David grew giant lilies, creeping jasmine, tall sweet peas and vibrant iris flowers.
The razor of the traditional German brand Mühle, with open head (open comb). Elegant tool for everyone who likes classic wet shaving. Chrome-plated design with roughened finish for a better grip. Thanks to the open head, it offers slightly less aggressive shaving than closed-head razors. It requires some training and it perfectly shaves even a very dense beard. When used properly, the foam will not be removed from the face by the head, but by the razor itself.
DAVE opens with light, citrusy and fruity top notes, reminiscent of Darjeeling tea. It has a soft jasmine accord at its heart and is perfectly rooted with notes of assam and powdery iris root.
