Here are some memories from the eco-tour “Safari” in Serengeti in Tanzani country that we were fortunate to experience.
The Serengeti Ecosystem is a geographical area in Africa that is mostly located in Tanzania covering about 30,000 square kilometers. The Serengeti is the site of the world's largest land mammal migrations. It is named one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa, and one of the ten natural tourist wonders of the world.
The Serengeti is home to many of the continent's highest concentrations of large mammals, including lions, hyenas, zebras, giraffes, cheetahs, leopards, and elephants. Each year, more than two million wildebeest, wildebeest and Thompson's gazelles migrate in circles to escape the winter cold as well as the summer heat, after seasonal rains, across the plains.
