When you've got extra basil and don't want it to go to waste - freeze it with this simple method.
Cut into thin strips (a chiffonade of basil 👇), place in ice cube tray, cover with oil, freeze and then transfer frozen cubes into airtight freezer bag.
Use in in your favourite pasta or rice dish.
