Written by Angelo Bond, Berry Gordy, and Jean Mayer, and was recorded with the Temptations upon their return to Motown.
Power is one of my top favorite Temptations songs. I think it's really interesting how they came to sing the song, and the lyrics still are prevalent today. I think this rendition is different than really any other I've heard of "Power", I personally really like it.
Can't forget about Melvin's opening poem. I'm so glad that audio exists.
