In the final project of the minor Automotive Design (2015-2016), student teams develop future city visions, in which one property must be enlarged and emphasised to create specific mobility and vehicle design problems.
In 2016 those cities were Delta, Desert, Jungle, Mountain, Polar and Rural City. Each student designs a vehicle for the city. One personal mobility vehicle and one for public transport, B2B and B2C vehicles and a rescue vehicle. Vehicle design encompasses all technical systems, package design, interior and exterior design as well as the vehicle's relationship to its infrastructure and environment and other vehicles.
The teams are mixed with students of the faculties of Industrial Design Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Architecture.
