Winston Churchill Tried to Start WW3
Winston Churchill almost started World War Three, but it was for a good reason.
In 1945, Nazi Germany had been defeated, but Poland, a former British ally, was still occupied by the Soviet Union.
So Churchill ordered his chiefs of staff to prepare a plan to liberate Poland, called Operation Unthinkable.
However, the plan was deemed infeasible due to the Soviet superior numbers, so Poland spent the next 45 years under an evil communist regime.
