In this video we'll see how to create a simple foreign exchange currency converter in Excel without using any macros, and with macros too. The currency converter gets exchange rates from the internet through a web query. It's also possible to scrape such data or get it through an API. We will cover how to get exchange rates from an API in a later video. The exchange rates are taken in relation to the Euro. You can use other website to get rates for US dollar or your local currency instead. The web query is refreshed on file open to get the latest exchange rates every time we open the workbook.
