#med (Music.Every.Day)

Day 303 of my daily video posting project. I have been working on this project since November 2023--learning and posting a video of new piano music every day!

This video is a jazzy arrangement of "I'm Wishing" from "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs". The music and words were written by Frank Churchill and Larry Morey. This swing arrangement is found in Hal Leonard's collection: "Jazz Piano Solos: Disney Favorites".

The original is probably known for being sung into a wishing well, and singing with the echo. The jazzy arrangement adds a gentle swing to the original and the overall vibe is more relaxed and has a nice flow to it.

I don't think it's as well known as say "Whistle While You Work", but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
