Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has disqualified former minister and present Senator Faisal Vawda for his alleged concealment of dual nationality at the time of contesting 2018 elections from a Karachi seat.
Vawda has been directed by the ECP to return all salaries and benefits received as Minister and law-maker. According to ECP, Vawda had submitted false affidavit at the time of filing nomination papers for the elections.
