I present to you RRPG's Final Fantasy Retrospective!

For as long as the franchise has existed for over 35 years, there have been several heroes who would rise to the occasion in saving their own world from catastrophe. Bringing in their own innovations as well as taking inspiration from other heroes in media has established every individual that would inherit them the title of leader, hero, and most importantly, a Warrior of Light. With Final Fantasy XVI coming out right around the corner, it is time that RRPG takes a brief look at each main protagonist by talking about their roles in their respective stories as well as their pros and cons in that category. Starting with the original Final Fantasy all the way up to Final Fantasy XV, each hero has their own tale about them within every game's story about to be told!

Final Fantasy XI and Final Fantasy XIV are not included in this list due to each game being centered on a player's created character as the main protagonist. All the others outside of those two games have some establishment in their own stories and spin-offs that came about, afterward.
