Gems, minerals, and fossils can be found all over the world. In fact, many people are able to venture out in the wilderness to collect their own to some degree or another. Gem and mineral clubs are a fantastic means to be able to do this in a safe environment. Everywhere is different and in today's video we'll be looking at the state of Georgia in the south eastern United States. It has a very rich history of mineral collecting with a wide range of specialties like Staurolite, gold, agates, jaspers, fossils, and the coveted amethyst. Here are ten general localities to find crystals in Georgia though there are many, many more than could not be added to this video for sake of time and my sanity.
