Four thieves armed with at least one kalashnikov rifle pulled off a daring daylight heist at a Chanel store near Place Vendôme in the heart of Paris on Thursday afternoon.
The four fled with a scooter and a motorcycle, according to a police source adding that there were no injuries. The robbery was filmed by a bystander who posted it online.
The footage shows four people dressed in black with helmets and balaclavas. Three come out of the shop while a fourth is on a motorbike holding an assault rifle. Two of the thieves then leave on a scooter while the two others ride off on a motorbike.
