Sierra Leone's First Lady Arrives in Brussels Ahead of the Crans Montana Forum
26th July, Brussels, Belgium. Her Excellency Madam Fatima Maada Bio has arrived at the Brussels International Airport, Belgium ahead of the Crans Montana 36th annual session scheduled for 26th to 29th June 2024.
At this year's forum, Her Excellency the First Lady will join other distinguished personalities, Heads of State, Prime Ministers and First Ladies of different countries to discuss a broad range of issues including, Africa's integration into the world maritime industry, the crypto World, Innovative financing and issues affecting youth, a new approach for global business and the Food Security and the Challenge of Water.
Madam Fatima Bio will share a platform as a keynote speaker along with the President of the Republic of the Union of Comoros, the President of the African Union (2023) and Prime Minister of the State of Libya on the theme: "The State of our Democracies Weighs on our Tomorrow's World".
First Lady Madam Fatima Bio will also join Mrs. Azali Ambar, First Lady of the Union of Comoros to speak on the theme, “WOMEN, DEMOCRACY AND SOCIAL COHESION - Th Role Of Women In The Implementation of Societal Values And The Promotion Of A National Dialogue .”
The Republic of Sierra Leone is known for its huge potential in strategic mineral resources. Against this backdrop, Madam Fatima Bio will deliver an address on the theme, “Oil & Gas Minerals For A Real National Sovereignty On Extractive.
