For patients considering limb lengthening surgery or leg lengthening surgery, there are often questions and concerns about scars. How visible or noticeable are the scars? How many scars and where to expect them? How well do the scars heal? What can be done to improve the healing of the scars or reduce the visibility of scars? How do tibia lengthening scars compare to femur lengthening scars?
