PRACTICE TIPS
Don't be scared by the term "Allegrissimo" as the indicated metronome is not as fast as you might first imagine. A performance of this Sonata should definitely have energy and forward momentum, but evenness of tone and rhythm is always critical. You'll find gradual building up the speed with a metronome will take you to comfortably to sparkling Allegrissimo, as the notes sit very nicely under your hand if you devise a strict fingering plan.

Regarding the ornaments, mordents on quavers work well at this speed as a 3 note figure starting on the written note, whereas those on the longer crotchet can afford a 4 note pattern starting on the upper note.

The LH quaver lines throughout this sonata would work equally well, legato or staccato (this video goes with the latter) or even a mixture of both. Also open to interpretation should be some light and shade with your dynamics, and the performance given here is only a suggestion.
