In the Dominican Republic they call her "La Máma del Rap." That means she has authority, skills, swag. Lots of swag. As a teen she earned props from the island's male artists, such as the respected Lo Correcto squad, and in the last few year's she's refined those talents even further. You can hear how powerful and seductive she is on last year's 'Dragon Queen' album. Now Melymel would like the entire world to call her that name mentioned up top - and she's got a shot at it.
