March 2021. Turkey. Istanbul. Stopped by Istanbul for three nights. There's nothing much presented here in the way of tourism except for Galata Tower. Bianca hadn't visited the top before and since there was no line (thank you, COVID), took a quick peak. Otherwise, it's mostly backgammon ("tavla" in Turkish) with friends, one of whom is World Backgammon Federation (WBF) champion. I've never beaten Levent before, but it will happen someday. You'll see. We rented in Galata, so there's a bit of walking about that area, to restaurants, churches, and antique stores.
