An NGO established by writer and human rights activist Harsh Mander was accused of alleged violation of the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, after which the CBI conducted searches on its premises on Friday.
Raids were also underway at Mander's residence and official premises.
The CBI also registered a case against the NGO, Aman Biradari, in connection with the case.
