Onwards & southwards this time, as I hop on an overnight train from Georgia to Yerevan; the capital of Armenia. A landlocked country that straddles Europe & Asia, and is bordered by Turkey to the West, Azerbaijan to the East (not including the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region), & Iran to the South. It is a majority Christian country, & the first country to officially adopt Christianity.
With only one night, & roughly one & half days there, then my time in the city / country was limited. However, this video details some of the sights on offer in Yerevan that I had a chance to check-out; surviving on just a few hours sleep (thanks to the long, late-night border-control between Georgia & Armenia) , & the rather oppressive heat during my visit. Until I return yet again someday.
