The Man of Lawlessness (Verses 3-5):
The "man of lawlessness" is described as a figure who opposes and exalts himself above all gods and objects of worship.
He will even take his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.
Paul reminds the Thessalonians that he had previously taught them about these events.
