Ukraine's military has announced that it has retaken territory in Kherson following the withdrawal of Russian troops from the area on Thursday.
The news which comes on the 37th week of Russia's war in Ukraine, could potentially hand Ukraine another major victory.
Videos show that Ukrainian forces are moving into several villages in the region, receiving an emotional welcome from some elderly residents who appear to have stayed through Moscow's occupation.
Ukrainian officials, however, also warned that they should not let their guards down yet as retreating Russian soldiers could turn the regional capital into a "city of death" on their way out.
