"It's not a dis," Jizzle told MTV News via phone from ATL. "First of all, I'm not gonna get nothing out of dissing that guy. That's one. What am I gonna get out of dissing him? ------ "I had no problem with the song. I understand that this is an artist doing his thing," Ms. Flenory said in the interview. "So I had no problem with the song. I felt this was a way of acknowledging Meech and keeping his name out there. Not making him one of the forgotten souls."
In addition to giving her stamp of approval, Ms. Flenory also confirms that her son Big Meech also loves the song. "One of our friends in the ATL played the song for Meech over the phone and he listened to the song and he really loved it," Ms. Flenory continued. "He appreciated the song. He said the guys in prison were ranting and raving about the song."
