"Carol of the Bells" is a popular Christmas carol, which is based on the Ukrainian song called "Shchedryk. The original Ukrainian title translates to "the generous one" or is perhaps derived from the Ukrainian word for bountiful (shchedryj), and tells a tale that proclaims the bountiful year that the family will have.

It should be the song of Happiness. But this year, Ukrainian Christmas was overshadowed by War. We believe that next year it will be Christmas after Victory. This year, that is a manifest of Hope.
