This year, the National Transgender HIV Testing Day will be commemorated on Saturday, April 18, 2020. It is a special day to raise HIV status awareness through testing, prevention and treatment among trans and GNC folks. It also aims to continue to elevate and improve the quality of life for many who are at higher risk for HIV infection. Although we now have more effective prevention tools and efforts, we must continue to encourage folks to know their HIV status so they can take the necessary steps and choices on how to live healthier and productive lives.
On April 18, 2020, San Francisco Community Health Center along with Community Partners invite you to commemorate the 5th National Transgender HIV Testing Day (NTHTD). SFCHC will be hosting a live-streamed panel discussion via Facebook where we have invited Community Leaders who will discuss the importance and life-changing power of HIV testing.
Save the date on April 18 at 6:30 pm PST and stay tuned as we announce more information about the event and how you can show support on this day and it’s cause. We look forward to seeing you!
