This theme appears twice in The Diary of Adam and Eve in The Adventures of Mark Twain. Unfortunately the soundtrack by Billy Scream from the film doesn't seem to be extant, only the film itself.
The theme is first heard when Adam and Eve have fallen from the garden, and Adam places the valentine in the back of his book.
The theme is played again when Adam and Eve are elderly and reminiscing their lives. Adam names the valentine to Eve's surprise. Sadly, Eve them dies in what is the most heart breaking scene in the film; the personification of the tragedy of the cosmos and the death of all beings that are born in it, and the ultimate doom of the cosmos herself.
I played this completely from ear, so sorry there is no sheet music available.
