Ilana Glazer, Michelle Buteau and Pamela Adlon talk to #CherryPicks' Meg McCarthy about the making of their new film Babes, friendship as a love story, embracing the realities of pregnancy and childbirth, and more!
In Pamela Adlon‘s directorial debut, this comedy from co-writers Ilana Glazer and Josh Rabinowitz tells the story of New York besties Eden (Glazer) and Dawn (Michelle Buteau) on different paths of adulthood. When Eden finds herself unexpectedly pregnant, she turns to Dawn, mother of two, to help her through. But Eden’s problems become too much for the level-headed Dawn to tackle, forcing Dawn to wonder if their friendship can survive in this unabashedly squeamish, laugh-out-loud comedy.
