In this nearly 4 hour long video I dissect the inner workings of Sly 2 Band of Thieves. This video is a follow up to my 2.5 hour critique of Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus which I would recommend watching before this one. Sly 2 is my favorite video game of all time, and I truly believe it ends up being more than the sum of its parts. Some of its' technical workings have diminished, but this game took a basic formula outlined by the first game and expanded on it greatly by revolutionizing the gameplay and crafting a much more impactful story with highs and lows along the way. It is an upgrade over the first game in every way and remains the pinnacle of the series for me and many others.
