The core (muscles around the spine) are extremely important when learning to walk correctly. The core provides a stable based for the arms and legs to move efficiently. Here are some of my favorite core exercises that I recommend for my patients who have suffered a stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, or are living with a variety of other neurologic conditions.
