This is the trailer for our newest video in the 7 Steps to Stroke Recovery Series produced by Stroke Recovery Association of BC in collaboration with our partners March of Dimes Canada. It gives useful information and advice about dealing with aphasia. Aphasia is a communication disorder that results from damage or injury to the language parts of the brain. It's more common in older adults, particularly those who have had a stroke. Aphasia gets in the way of a person's ability to use or understand words. The full-length video will be up here in time for World Stroke Day on October 29th - so watch this space! For more information please go to www.srabc.ca.
