The way we learn and share experiences is changing. INBAR’s themed online webinar series brings bamboo and rattan experts from all over the world together to educate, inspire and discuss, without the need for travel.
This event, held online on 16 June, was the first organised under the theme of "Bamboo and Environmentsl Management." This session introduces the framework for assessing ecosystem services from bamboo; shares the result of some case studies; and discusses the local and global importance of ecosystem services provided by bamboo forests and how to enhance these benefits for human well-being. This session also covers the broader mechanism for integrating policy and ES market framework.
