Although the qualities that define a cult film can vary but generally speaking, films that have inspired an unusually devoted group of fans are labelled as cult movies. While some arguments had surfaced that this tag should apply only to lesser-known, underrated films, nowadays, there are many projects by mainstream stars and big-budget films that are widely regarded as cult movies due to their lasting popularity with committed groups of fans.

These types of films will be remembered even after failing at the box-office thanks to its fans and their efforts to ensure that it does not get forgotten by quoting it, holding special screenings and engaging in mentioning references with the tag 'cult classic' added to it all along. Perhaps the important characteristic everyone can agree upon is that cult movies have a unique feature, an unusual aspect that sets them apart from most other movies.

In these particularly trying times, it’s important to not step out as much as possible and engage in activities that would persuade us to stay home. One such great one is catching up on our favourite films.
