You should always think like this when answering any questions in a call center interview:

And that is to never ever say anything bad about yourself.

Don't think that you applied there because you need their Company

instead you should think that you applied because their Company needs you.

So here are the most common Call Center interview questions and answers for beginners:

Now the very first most common Interview Question is..

1.Tell me something about yourself?

Tip:

You can answer by saying your name, educational attainment, last work experience or any skills that you have that is related to a Call Center.

And remember to always end your answer with

"That is all!"

Everytime when you are finish answering!

Here is a sample answer:

Hi Sir/Mam Good day my name is Nick and I took up Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Silliman University.

I used to work before at our Silliman Library as a Student Assistant. And what I do there is I sort and arrange books.

I am also a very hardworking person, I am optimistic, patient and I am computer literate.

I am very eager to learn new things and helping other people is my passion.

That is all!



Now the next most common interview question might be :

2. Why should we hire you

Tip: this is a bonus question because you can say everything good about yourself.

Sample answer:


You shoud hire me because I am a fast learner and I have great active listening skills.

I can do multitasking tasks and I can follow instructions properly.

And lastly because I will do whatever it takes to become the best asset to your company.

That is all!

After that the next most common question migt be:

3.Why did you apply here?

Tip: to answer this question you should research about the Company you are applying for before you even apply.


Sample answer:

I applied here to your Company because
According to my research online.

Your Company has Great Career Grwoth Oppurtunities.
Friendly work environmet
State of the art Equipments
Great Incentives and performance rewards

And most of all because you have great Salary Base Pay.

That is all!

Now the next most common interview question might be

4. What was your last job?

Tip: to answer this question you should be honest and try to explain what are the things that you do on your last job.

If you don't have any work experience then you can try to answer anything related or near similar to a work experience that you have done before.. even in school.


Sample answer:

My last job was a Student Assistant at Silliman Library. What I do there is I sort, arrange, and organize books properly.

I also help students locate books for them to borrow.

That is all!

Next question:

5. What is your greatest strength?

Tip: another Bonus Question because once again you can say something good about yourself. But in this question make sure to answer the best skill that you have that is useful to a Call Center.


My greatest strength is that I am very Dedicated person.

And also because I have no Call Center Experience yet.

So I am so eager to work for your Company and I will always go for the extra mile, perform really well and exceed your expectations.

6. What is your greatest weakness?


Tip: This is a trick question. Remember to never every say anything bad about yourself?

Sample answer:

My greatest weakness is that I work so hard that I have no time to go out with my friends.
