Great pose after you have practiced famous and powerful Plank pose. This pose is complete opposite to Plank pose. It will relax muscles that were working during plank pose.
Tips for beginners
In the beginning support yourself on heels, later on a full sole. Be gentle to the neck.
Sit on the ground with your legs straight. Put your palms on the ground behind you. Lift your body up, and support it on your palms and feet. Have your knees straight. Stay in this pose for a long time. By practicing this pose you get full stretch of the front part of the body. However, it is not specified in the description how exactly the palms, neck and head should be. Practice this asana as it feels comfortable for you and let it make you happy.
