GCN (N64) Gameplay of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.
NOTE: I'm using the emulated GameCube Version of Majora's Mask from the Collector's Edition Disc.
"The series again takes a dramatic turn from tradition as Link wanders into a three-day journey in a mysterious parallel world. Majora's Mask challenges players to don magical masks and save a town threatened to be crushed under a menacing moon."
--The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition, Game Info
Majora's Mask is definitely a Zelda of a different color; being said, Majora's Mask is my personal favorite installment of the series, due to its darker tone, the three-day cycle and its unforgettable emotional moments; both heart-warming and tragic.
We see Link releasing the eggs he retrieved from the Pirate's Fortress into the water tank in the Marine Research Lab. He then goes to the Fisherman's Hut and sees a seahorse, who's willing to help Link get to Pinnacle Rock, but the Fisherman doesn't have intentions in selling it until the day of the Carnival unless you give him a photo of a Pirate. Link accepts the trade, stores the seahorse in his bottle and heads to Pinnacle Rock. Arriving, he releases the seahorse so it may lead Link towards it since the water's murky. The seahorse asks Link if he can get rid of all the Sea Snakes in the area to save its mate. Link agrees and does what he was told while gathering the remaining eggs. After defeating all of the Sea Snakes, the seahorse found its mate and gives you a Piece of Heart. Link heads to the Marine Research Lab to release the rest of the eggs. The eggs managed to hatch, but the newborns lined up in a musical order. Link follows the notes and learns the New Wave Bossa Nova. The song was meant to be heard by the one who laid these eggs, so Link soars to the Zora Cape.
