The European Union and the United States are both huge players. And although there are a lot of differences between them, at their cores, they both share the same fundamental democratic values.
It' s these values and their shared history that make up the base for the largest and strongest partnership the world has ever seen.
They are each other's most important trade partner with over 1.1 trillion dollars worth of goods traded between them every year, and closest military ally since most of the european member states are also part of NATO.
The world we know is changing. Countries keep improving their relations with each other and this had me thinking: what if the US and the EU joined forces all the way to the point where they would become one country?
