In 1991, after a quiet and sober year in 1990 with only two concerts, Elton John made a brief return to the stage for an AIDS benefit concert in Atlanta, Georgia. This event followed the Rainforest benefit earlier that year. Though the exact venue remains unknown, the audio comes from a video copy of a high-generation audience recording, resulting in some quality loss, including muted colors. The concert marked Elton's last known live performance in 1991 before recording the album "The One" and embarking on a new tour. He began with an emotional speech, expressing gratitude to the audience for supporting the cause, while acknowledging the impact AIDS had on his loved ones, both those suffering and those who had passed away.
