On Day 2 the RGS crew meets up with friend and Minnesota DNR Forest Gamebird Coordinator, Ted Dick to tour several projects the Ruffed Grouse Society and MN DNR have worked together on.
Ted brought his young pup "Ace" along and had some nice finds on woodcock, some of which were in places so thick, the cameras couldn't slip into so easily.
Minnesota has long been considered one of the top states in the country to pursue ruffed grouse in and the MN Forest Gamebird Coordinator (Biologist) is partially funded through a partnership with the Ruffed Grouse Society.
The inaugural Grouse Camp Tour celebrates habitat, membership camaraderie and the positive impact RGS has on our sport and what grouse and woodcock hunting means to those we have the pleasure of getting into to the woods with.
