This webinar took place on 5 April 2023.
Why get reviewed against the DCED Standard for Results Measurement? A Challenging but Rewarding Experience for a Youth Employment Project in Kosovo.
The DCED Standard for Results Measurement provides a practical seven-part framework for private sector development programmes to monitor progress towards their objectives. For those programmes that are more seriously engaged in validating this system, there is an option to do ‘pre-audit’ reviews to check how far they comply, and a more formal ‘audit’ to achieve external validation on compliance with the Standard.
In this webinar, the Enhancing Youth Employment (EYE) project in Kosovo shared their experience in applying the DCED Standard to their Monitoring and Results Measurement (MRM) system, and in doing periodical pre-audit reviews. Applying the Standard requires rigor and discipline in data gathering and recording, and EYE shared their real experience in going through this journey, what worked and what was more challenging and could have been done differently.
Speakers: Vlora Kastrati, Julian Peach (EYE Kosovo). Moderator: Nabanita Sen Bekkers (DCED Secretariat)
