Enrique Hernandez debuted with the Houston Astros back in 2014. They ended up trading him to the Miami Marlins because they didn't believe he would live up to his full potential. The Marlins did the same thing, as they later traded Hernandez to the Los Angeles Dodgers at the literal end of the year.
When Hernandez got brought up to the Dodgers for the first time in 2015, he hit very well, leading the league in batting average against left-handed pitchers. After the 2015 season, he regressed a bit, suffering a sophomore slump with the team in 2016. From 2017 up until 2020, Kiké was the utility man coming off their bench, eventually winning a World Series in 2020.
In 2021, Kiké Hernandez signed a 2-year deal with the Boston Red Sox, realizing he wanted to reach his full potential as a full time starter. He started in centerfield for the Sox, hitting 20 home runs in the regular season and having an unbelievable postseason with the stick. At one point, he was hitting .600 in the postseason alone with 5 home runs in 5 games, going 15 - 25. Enjoy this enjoyable breakout year of Enrique Hernandez and like this video.
