DFI has been developing its capacity to implement the public sector equality and human rights duty (the Duty), a statutory obligation on public bodies to have regard to the need to eliminate discrimination, promote equality of opportunity and protect human rights of staff, service-users and policy beneficiaries, taking into account all of the organisation’s functions.
Values Lab will be facilitating online training for member organisations to: inform them about the Duty and its requirements; and enable them to make full and effective use of the templates in implementing the Duty in their organisation.
