On night 18 of Nice Live Ricky kicks off the night by discussing rumors around quarantine do's and dont's and what people should actually being cautious of during this time ( 1:00 ). Then he takes questions from the audience and asks how everyone is feeling ( 9:45 ). Ricky then introduces a very special guest, the Nice Life/ Warner legend John-Robert ( 18:50 ) . John-Robert released his first EP and he discusses with Ricky the craziness around a release day, and what it feels like to release a project ( 19:00 ). They then discuss whats its like for a young artist to try to get a record deal and get noticed in the industry ( 23:50 ). We are then joined by another Nice Life legend, Junior Mesa.. they all discuss whats its like for them two to live together ( 43:45 ) . Ricky then plays the mixed stems to John-Robert song Pelican and breaks down the production on that song for the audience ( 50:45 ). Thats a wrap for Nice Live 18, happy release day JR!
