50 years ago today, Led Zeppelin played their final show of their 9th concert tour of America at Madison Square Garden in New York City. As most know, the 3 nights at MSG were filmed and recorded for what would become the concert movie "The Song Remains The Same".
In honor of the occasion, I decided to do a complete play along, using a fan made edition of the audio which combines optimal sources/versions of each song. Thank you Eric Levy (Dogs of Doom) for the excellent merge of the sources! I made some cuts to audio bits that don't have drums (Rain Song, Stairway etc), to save viewing time.
Special thanks to the one and only Terry Keating for lending me his fab Amber Vistalite kit!
I tried to play each song as close to the way Bonzo played them as possible. This was by far the most memorizing I've ever done, but it helped that I was so familiar with these songs over all the years of listening to them. That said, I did a lot of listening in preparation over the last few weeks!
Hope you all enjoy!!
