Sitting here, listening to each of these amps right now! The sound is quite nice, unmistakable detail here... I really don’t want to turn them off -- but I must -- it’s getting late. Both survivors are due a new owner after so many years... The EICO HF-20 -- integrated mono-block -- these utilize the desirable, fully potted Chicago output transformers. They are seldom seen in nice well matched pairs, as they are before stero was commonplace -- I had this set minimally serviced in 2012 -- they both included full voltage check sheets, as they were carefully gone over. Original tone control and EQ section ceramic caps are usually OK, so they are original.
Cosmetics are fair, both amps have numerous minor scratches and flaws in paint on top / sides and bottoms, with lots of patina. Bottom cover plates have some wear, all normal from age -- they present very nicely in person. Chassis letters are all legible and present. Front brass plates with engraved letters have patina, and wear -- though they still look nice.
