In this video I will be showing you how to make on of my most favourite puttu dishes. This puttu dish uses dry anchovies, potatoes and aubergine and it is very very tasty. This puttu recipe doesn't take very long and it is easy to make. You can make this for any occasion and everyone will enjoy. Enjoy watching and making the anchovy puttu :)
Anchovy puttu ingredients:
Steamed all purpose flour - 2 cups (240g)
Potatoes - 2
Aubergine - 2
Some shallots
Green chillies - 5
Dried anchovies - 75g
Eggs - 2
Some curry leaves
Turmeric - ½ teaspoon
Red chilli powder - 1 teaspoon
Mixed curry powder - 1½ teaspoons
Cumin seeds - ½ teaspoon
Fennel seeds - ½ teaspoon
Salt
Compounded asafoetida powder - around ¼ teaspoon
Some oil (I used sesame seed oil)
