Believe or not, I have been looking for a desktop-like calculator for quite some time and still couldn't find one.
tcalc [1] is by far the closest to what I have been seeing, the only thing it doesn't have is the mouse support.
Don't know why no one has coded a simple calculator that you can also use mouse in terminal, I just couldn't find one with simple buttons. If you know of any, please drop me a link.
It has quite flexible control for inputting the expression (0:03), supports very basic operations +-*/ and decimal numbers. For a desktop calculator, that's all you need.
I like how it flashes a button when you press a key. The only other thing I think it need to do, beside the mouse support, is the layout, it's a narrow design vertically, it would be nice to go wider instead of going longer.
