Installation of the 2021 Eureka Chamber Board of Directors. The by-laws dictate that each year six members complete their three year term, and six new members are selected by the chamber membership that will begin their service for the Chamber or Commerce.
2020 Board Chair, Jennifer Budwig of Redwood Capital Bank, highlights two outgoing board members, Steven Lafferty of Stewart Telecommunications, and Shelley Nilsen of Express Employment Professionals. Both served for two consecutive three year terms, plus chaired different Chamber committees. Budwig recognizes the incumbent group of board members that bring stability to the Chamber, along with incoming board members for 2021.
Eureka Mayor Susan Seaman gives a message of support, welcomes 2021 Board Chair Scott Pesch of Coldwell Banker Commercial Pacific Partners Real Estate, and provides the oath of office for new members. Typically this installation is done at the Eureka Chamber's Annual Dinner and Membership Meeting, but this year it took place virtually.
