My recent project using Cuprinol Anti-Slip Decking Stain in the Silver Birch Colour to transform my old weathered decking.
The decking wood had been stained with light brown and neutral oils and stains in the past (the deck was made with reclaimed boards) and so had a patchy and stained look to it. I was looking for a stain that would cover well and brighten it up so I chose a different colour entirely (Cuprinol Silver Birch). On the tin it looked quite dark grey but when applied it looks much lighter which I actually prefer.
I used a brush to apply the paint since I find it makes it easier to cover the rough and uneven parts of the wood. In total I used about 2 and a half cans of paint (about 6-7 litres).
