United States Oil Fund (USO) tracks the movement of Crude Oil Futures. It is an investment tool to reflect the daily changes in spot price of oil. It provides investors access to futures markets in the form of etf. The contracts are primarily for light, sweet crude oil or specifically the West Texas intermediate Light sweet Crude Oil. Other exposures to oil include SCO for bearish movement and UCO for bullish movement. These etfs are 2x the movement of USO. Other exposures include GASL, DRIP, GUSH, GASX, which are 3x movement of oil and gas exploration companies (XOP & XLE).
